No box spring is needed, as the Daybed comes with 14 durable wood slats and 1 long wood center support to securely hold your mattress in place. The Trundle Bed features 11 wood slats, each 3.3 inches wide and spaced 2.8 inches apart. Using bed slats improves mattress lifespan by reducing strain and providing support to relieve pressure points.

The Trundle Bed is a perfect instant guest bed for a kid's sleepover or unexpected guests. Please note that thick carpeting may affect the ease of rolling the trundle.
